Tzeentch's Under the Stairs Cupboard - Random Miniatures Log

Hail, Children of Technology!

Tis I, Redbranch, here to bring you more Snapshots of Violence from the land of the young!

This part of my Blog is where i post all sorts of different miniatures from all different companies and games! so here we go..

Here is my Wurrzag Miniature. I always liked Orcs and Goblins, they were my first Warhammer army and I still have lots of the old metal Savage Orcs left lying around.

Heres a close up on the base. It was a test in creating small waterfalls and i think it was a sucess. The main structure of the base is made from Milliput and i used Woodland Scenics Water effects and Liquid Water. The waterfall itself is made from clear plastic that you get from Blister packs and then had a half Water Effects and half white paint mix applied in streaks down in and at the bases of the twin streams.

Here is another Orc, this time its a Savage Orc Shamen. This was the first model to recieve a water base. There is also a small test on Glowing effect on the eye of the skull.

Here is the Avatars of War Witchhunter Miniature. He is the Leader of my Forthcoming Witchhunters Warband for the lovably insane skirmish game Mordheim. I Have improved my ability of painting NMMs since then but i think that the gold of the Cruxifix looks pretty good and i like the miniature all the same. The base was given a brickwork effect by creating a level using Milliput and then scorring lines through it before it dried.

I believe that i mentioned Inquisitor before in my blog entries so heres the first two finished miniatures that have made their way from the battle for the emperor's soul, the assassin twins Severina and Sevora Devout. The bases in these photos are not yet painted but when i get some Weathering Powder, they shall looks very dark and gritty, just like the world that their representing. These two are also one of the most recent things that i have painted.
The next lot of Pictures are my Dark Elf or Wicked Elf BloodBowl Team. The miniatures are by Australlian company Shadowforge Miniatures and are amazing. The team is entirely female and has been painted using Gloss Varnish to make it apear as if they are wearing PVC / Latex uniforms (I know, im a dirty man). If your interested in getting your hands on some naked women of the 28mm variety then check out Shadowforge Miniatures http://www.shadowforge.com.au/

Above are the Lines(wo)men

Next are the Masked Blitzers.

Heres the Runners, more scantily clad than the others.

Finally, we have the Witch Elves.

Here is Stompy, the Pride and Joy of my 40k Ork army and as there isnt enough of the army painted to justify a blog of their own at the moment then i shall show you them here. This was my first resin model and was bought the first time i visited Warhammer World in Nottingham, England. Im quite proud of the metal on him, which was basecoated with Charadon Granite before having Boltgun Metal drybrushed over the top of it.

Below are some of the Orks from my army. The theme of the army is a Bloodaxe Mechanised infantry column and the army contains 2 squads of 12 ork boys in trucks, 6 bikers and my Wazdakka counts as, a Nob Squad with big choppas and all the upgrades, a Battlewagon with deff rolla (aka Stompy, see above), 10 tankbustas with bomb squigs and finally a Commisar themed Warboss dubbed Kommisar Yarsnikk.

Heres the nob of the Squad and as a grizzled veteran of many campaigns i felt he should have a beard.

Heres some pics of a Big Shoota from the squad.

Being Bloodaxes means that they have taken some ideas from the Imperium and improved on them, so i give you Da Shouta! Fer makin' sure Da Warboss'z Boyz noes where dey is supposed ta be!

This army was my first venture into 40k and has been with me a long long time now, even if the models have changed slightly over the years. I've always loved the idea of Orks and will probably never get tired of this army. I still have another 10 nobs (a mix of new plastic and old metal) that are in need of arms so maybe in the future, once the Emperor's Children army is "finished" (no army is even finished), i shall break out the snot green and have myself a good old WAAAGH!

Thats it for now, but this log will be where i shall be posting my Necromunda Miniatures when i've finished painting them and any other random stuff from GW and Non-GW sources, so keep your peepers on this on.
Until then, Keep your Blades enriched with Deeds of Violence!
